EXPERIENCE

Brian W. Tilker joined the litigation department of the firm in September 2011. Mr. Tilker concentrates his practice on commercial and employment litigation. He has represented clients in matters involving breach of contract, fraud, trademark infringement, mass torts, toxic torts, real estate, trusts and estates, tax controversy, ERISA, wage and hour, discrimination, harassment and retaliation litigation in state and federal courts. He has successfully argued before both state and federal trial and appellate courts. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Tilker worked in the litigation departments of Ganfer & Shore LLP and Fulbright & Jaworski LLP.

RECOGNITIONS/DISTINCTIONS

While attending law school, Mr. Tilker was the recipient of the New York State Bar Association Legal Ethics Award and the J. Gordon Cooney Merit Scholarship.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Mr. Tilker’s civic involvement includes being a member of the New York Board of Directors for Indego Africa which assists widows of the Rwandan genocides in selling hand-made goods abroad and Legal Outreach which mentors city high school students from underprivileged neighborhoods.
