Jennifer L. Zelko

Jennifer Leilani Zelko has been practicing in the areas of land use and real estate for the last seven years.  During that time, Jennifer has appeared before state and county agencies including the Hawaii County Council, Planning Commission, Board of Appeals, Liquor Commission, Water Department, and the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands.  Jennifer represents developers and landowners in all areas of land use planning and development, as well as prospective buyers in pre-closing issues.  She also represents landlords in landlord / tenant disputes.

Jennifer is a member of the Board of Directors of the YWCA of Hawaii Island and a member of the Operations Committee of the YWCA.  She is also a member of the Na Leo Board of Directors, the University of Hawaii at Hilo Alumni Board of Directors and the Hilo Downtown Improvement Agency Board of Directors.  Jennifer speaks on employment law issues to the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii and has also spoken on landlord / tenant issues.  Jennifer was selected as a 2011 Fellow in the HSBA Leadership Institute.
