Our labor and employment attorneys are some of the most experienced in state and many have been recognized nationally for their expertise in the area of labor and employment law. We combine our in depth knowledge of employment law with our longstanding ties to the community to provide practical, effective advice to both large and small U.S. and international employers operating in Hawaii.

Labor Relations. Our firm was the only firm in Hawaii providing labor relations counsel for approximately three decades and we draw on that experience to help employers effectively respond to union organizing campaigns and election petitions. We work closely with employers to help them avoid unfair labor practice charges, negotiate collective bargaining agreements, and defend management decisions in arbitration proceedings. Our labor and employment attorneys have successfully represented employers in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and the Hawaii Labor Relations Board, the Hawaii and federal Departments of Labor and other administrative agencies regulating employment matters as well as the Federal or state courts that oversee those administrative agencies.
