Torkildson Katz, A Law Corporation, and the Kaua’i Chamber of Commerce present the 2023 Kauai Employment Law Seminar on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Hilton Garden Inn.
This full-day event includes several training workshops and information about creating employment relationships, managing employment relationships, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and more. There will also be a brief question-and-answer period.
Presenters at the event will be John Knorek, D. Elliott Gonzalez, and Jenna Moriwaki.
Registration includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and a hard copy of the newly updated 2023-2024 Chamber Desk Manual.
The annual event is open to Kaua’i Chamber of Commerce members and non-members.
The registration fee is $375 for Kaua’i Chamber of Commerce members and members of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Hawaii.
The registration fee for non-members is $425.
Attendees must register by Monday, October 30, 2023. Refunds will be considered on an individual basis.
Continental breakfast at the seminar will be served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on November 6, 2023. Seminar sessions begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 4:15 p.m.
