Attorneys John L. Knorek, Kendra K. Kawai, Jeffrey S. Harris and Joseph A. Ernst will speak at an upcoming Employment Law Update presented by the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii.
Mr. Knorek will discuss upcoming developments in the state legislature that may affect employment law matters. Ms. Kawai’s session will focus on sex harassment defense in Hawaii in light of the #MeToo movement. Mr. Harris will discuss changes at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) under the Trump administration. Finally, Mr. Ernst will present case law developments in state and federal courts that could affect employment decisions in Hawaii.
Each session includes a 40-minute presentation and five minutes of Q&A. This is an excellent opportunity for Hawaii employers to learn about personnel law trends and recent developments in labor and employment law.
