About the speakers:
Melissa Pannell, PHR is an HR generalist with Monsanto on Oahu. Melissa has served as the co-chair of the SHRM Hawaii State Conference Committee. She is currently in her third year as the SHRM Hawaii Legislative co-chair alongside John Knorek.
John Knorek, Esq. is a director at Torkildson Katz Moore Hetherington & Harris and provides counsel and representation to large and small employers in all aspects of employment and wrongful discharge law. John also serves as the SHRM Hawaii Legislative co-chair alongside Melissa Pannell.
Melissa Pavlicek is the executive director of SHRM Hawaii. She and her company, Hawaii Public Policy Advocates, LLC serve as the contract executive director for various Hawaii non-profit organizations.
