Business Litigation, Corporate and Business Law
David P. Jordan is an associate of the firm and focuses his practice on commercial litigation matters. Mr. Jordan also has experience in complex commercial transactions, including the drafting and negotiation of power purchase agreements. He has represented various local and national clients across industries including energy, real estate, finance, healthcare, and telecommunications.
Mr. Jordan graduated magna cum laude from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. During law school, Mr. Jordan served as Outside Articles Editor of the University of Hawaii Law Review. Mr. Jordan completed judicial externships with the Honorable Richard R. Clifton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable Kenneth J. Mansfield, Chief Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii. He also served as a legal intern at the Hawaii State Public Utilities Commission and the Ulupono Initiative. Mr. Jordan received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Real Property I, Real Property II, Constitutional Law I, Secured Transactions, Torts, and Second-Year Seminar.
Community Involvement
Mr. Jordan currently serves as Vice Chair of the Environment, Energy, and Resources Section of the Hawaii State Bar Association.
Mr. Jordan is a member of the Io Society, Iolani School’s annual giving leadership group. He served as Freshman, Sophomore, and Senior Class President when he attended Iolani.
Mr. Jordan is a proud Eagle Scout who earned the Gold Palm. Mr. Jordan continues to serve his community by volunteering with Access to Justice.
