A Director at Torkildson Katz, A Law Corporation, Attorney Steven L.F. Ho's practice includes advising corporations, limited liability companies and other entities in all aspects of their businesses, including business formation, corporate governance, securities law compliance, capital and financing arrangements, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. A practicing lawyer since 1988, Mr. Ho also assists nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations with various corporate and tax matters. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Ho practiced as a certified public accountant in the state of Washington. Mr. Ho has been a speaker at a number of continuing professional education courses for attorneys, CPAs and other professionals.
A well-respected corporate lawyer in Hawaii, Mr. Ho received an "excellent" rating from his peers through Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Ho believes strongly in supporting the community and providing support for many worthwhile organizations. As a result, he serves on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of Hawaii and on the Board Governance Committee of Saint Louis School. Mr. Ho previously served on the board of directors for several other nonprofit organizations, including the Hawaii Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations (HANO), St. Louis Education Foundation and the American Cancer Society (Hawaii Pacific).
